Happy Monday!! (Does such a thing exist?) I hate when the time changes, it was FINALLY starting to be light out when I woke up in the morning, and now it is dark again 😦
I started running a new fitness class that I am SUPER excited about. It’s part of a 90 day program that includes nutrition and exercise classes. I did my first class on Saturday with an awesome group of ladies who have built a solid support group for each other. I am happy to be a part of it. Between this group and CrossFit, I am finally starting to do what I love… motivate people to MOVE! There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone achieve things they never imagined they would be able to do!
Speaking of exciting achievements, this is the second week of the CrossFit Open (14.2). The workout goes: 0-3 minutes: 10 overhead squats, 10 chest to bar pull ups x2; 3-6 minutes 12 OHS, 12 C2B pull ups x2, etc
I did the workout on Friday just to see if I could get one chest to bar pull up, and I wound up doing 30 for a total of 62 reps! I had a feeling I could have pushed a little harder, so I redid the workout on Sunday, for a total of 81 reps. While I certainly wont be going to Regionals, it was so much more than I imagined I would be able to do! Anyone else competing in the Open? I hope you all exceed your goals this week 🙂
