I am absolutely disgusted.
Did you know that antibiotics are used to make livestock grow faster? These include penicillin and tilmicosin (which is fatal in humans.)
Were you aware that U.S. meat is crawling with antibiotic-resistant bacteria, including MRSA and Salmonella?
Lets not even get into the Lean Finely Textured Beef (aka: Pink Slime) that was discovered in fast food “meats” that was treated with ammonia to kill the E.Coli on it.
QUESTION: How did this happen? More importantly, WHY are we allowing this to happen?!
ANSWER: Due to the overuse of antibiotics, bacteria has evolved into antibiotic-resistant “superbugs”, and some of them can kill you. Why has the United States been turning a blind eye to this? Because of $$$!
Keep your eyes peeled at your local grocery store, and REFUSE to buy any meat that does not have “No Antibiotics” on the label!!
